Custom domains

Serve your links from your own domain instead of ours.

Pro and above

What changes#

Instead of louder.link/your-song, fans see links.yourband.com/your-song. The pages are identical; only the address differs. It matters most for labels and agencies presenting work under their own name.

Setting it up#

  1. 1 Pick a subdomain Something like links. or music. on a domain you already own. Using a subdomain rather than your root domain keeps your main website untouched.
  2. 2 Add it on the domain page Dashboard, then Custom domain. Enter the full subdomain.
  3. 3 Add the DNS record we show you One CNAME record at your domain registrar, pointing the subdomain at us.
  4. 4 Press verify DNS changes can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours to spread. Verify again if it is not ready yet.

After it goes live#

New links show the custom address everywhere: in the dashboard, when you copy a link, and in QR codes. Existing links keep working on the old address as well, so nothing you have already shared breaks.

The certificate is issued and renewed automatically, so pages are served over https without anything to configure.

Worth knowing#

Do not point your root domain at us

Use a subdomain. Pointing yourbandname.com itself at us would take over your main website.

One domain per artist. If you run a roster, each act can have its own, which is usually what a label wants anyway.
